the best thing about my room is the window, making it summer all over again. i can gaze out of the window, look at the raging charles on a cold and windy day in boston. i can look at the sidewalk carpeted with snow and sheets of ice, or the layers of white on the hoods of passing cars. and yet, the sun's rays filter through my window, bathing me in its warmth and i feel like i'm in the middle of june.
